Implants can be used to replace a single tooth, multiple teeth, or even all of them on your upper or lower jaw, just as you would do with a set of traditional complete dentures. But no matter how many teeth you need them for, you will find that our 10954 dental implants have some undeniable advantages over not only traditional dentures, but bridges, too. Here at the office of Louis S. Sinatra, DDS, you can restore your full smile with an option that looks, feels, and acts like real teeth do.
Done one at a time, our 10954 dental implants consist of two basic components. The first is the titanium (metal) post that is surgically placed beneath your gums and becomes anchored in your jaw structure. Your bone tissue grows around it over the course of a few months, ultimately fusing with the post. The result is a new root, every bit as dependable as the ones for your natural teeth. To the top of that post is cemented a crown fashioned out of tooth-colored material. If you have an entire upper or lower plate that is devoid of teeth, your only option used to be dentures held in with adhesive. There’s nothing wrong with that solution, but it’s far from perfect. Even with the adhesive, your dentures can slide around, especially when you speak or chew, leaving you less than fully confident in them. But with All-on-6, you get implant supported dentures that are 100% reliable, just like a single implant is. With all of our 10954 dental implants, you can get a long period of use out of them, and with ideal care, you might get to keep them for a lifetime. So they’re also very cost-effective when you consider their lifespan.
